a. Note:   Frances's year of birth to be sometime between 1817 and 1824.
  In the 1850, 1860, and 1870 censuses, Frances's birthplace is given asTN. But in 1880, her birthplace is listed as KY. I believe that TNis her birthplace and not KY. In 1880, Frances was living with adaughter and her family, so I would guess that her daughter orson-in-law gave the information to the census taker and they didn'tknow the correct state.
