a. Note:   P. Boggs birth and death dates as 1852 - 1942. I believe that this isa mistake as David appeared in the 1850 census at the age of 5. Thebook also lists David's wife Rhoda A. birth and death dates as 1846 -1925. I think the dates have been transposed and should be switchedto read:
  David P. 1846 - 1925 Rhoda A. 1852 - 1942
  This needs to be researched.
 
Note:   In the book, "Woods County Oklahoma Rural Cemeteries," it lists David
b. Note:   A. and John W., in row 11. Garrison Cemetery is located from Dacoma,OK, two miles east and one and one-half miles north.
 
Note:   David P. is buried next to his wife in row 10 and next to 2 sons, Noah

  Mary. F., 11 Ida A., 10 Jno W., 7 Jas F., 5 C. J., 3, daughter N. A., son, 7 months, born in Oct.
  Also living in this house is Frances Welch, 63, a widow, and themother of R. A. Frances was born in KY as was her mother. Herfather's birthplace is given as NC.

DavidP. is 23, born in NC, and a farmer with a real estate value of $200and a personal estate value of $130. Rhoda A. is 18, a housekeeper,and born in IL. They list one child living with them. Mary F. is 1and also born in IL. Mary E. Boggs is also living with them. Mary E.is 26 and born in NC. At this date, 30 April 1998, I believe thatMary E. is David's sister.

g. Note:   County, OK. David is 53, born Mar 1847 in NC, and is a farmer whoowns his farm free of mortgage. He has been married 32 years toRhoda, who is 47, born May 1853 in IL, and a mother of 9 children ofwhom 8 are still living. Both Rhoda's parents were born in TN. Davidand Rhoda list the following children:

h. Note:   Woods County, OK. David is 64, born in NC, and a farmer who owns hisfarm free of mortgage. Both his parents were born in NC. David hasbeen married one time for 44 years to Roda, who is 58 and the motherof 9 children of whom 7 are still living. Roda was born in IL as washer mother and her father was born in TN. A granddaughter, AliceShortman, is living with David and Roda. Alice is 13 and born in KS.Alice's father was born in England and her mother was born in IL.(Alice is the daughter of Mary Frances Boggs and Harry Shortman.)
