"Marion Sutter Blue Marion Sutter Blue, 81, formerly of El Dorado and Leon, died Friday,March 19, 1993, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Services will be held inColorado Springs. She was born in 1911, in Butler County, and lived in Leon where shegraduated from high school. She graduated from Wichita StateUniversity and in 1937, she and Claude R. Blue were married. Shelived in El Dorado for several years. She lived in Wichita until 1945and then moved to Colorado Springs. Survivors include: husband, Claude; daughters, Nancy Jane Blue ofFlorida, Claudia Eber of Tulsa, Okla., son, Ernie Blue of ColoradoSprings; sisters, Lizzie Seward of Augusta, Mickey Gibb of Leon; fourgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Alice Sutter, andsisters, Bessie Jane Dice and Ina Stitt." The following was found on Ancestry.com. Mrs. Blue was born March 20, 1911, in Leon, Kan., to Earnest Royal andEmily Alice (McCaffree) Sutter. She had been a resident of the area since 1945 and also had lived inWichita, Kan. She was a graduate of Emporia State Teachers College, Emporia, Kan.,and a member of First United Methodist Church. She married Claude R. Blue on Dec. 25, 1937, in Cunningham, Kan. Hesurvives. Mrs. Blue also is survived by two daughters, Nancy Jane Sanchez ofBrandon, Fla., and Claudia Ann Eber of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, EarnestRaymond of Colorado Springs; two sisters, Elizabeth Seward of Augusta,Kan., and Earnestine Micky Gibb of Leon, Kan.; four grandchildren; andtwo great-grandchildren.
