b. Note:   Township in Allen County, KS. Daniel is 34, born Jan 1866 in IL, andis a farmer who rents his farm. Both his parents were also born inIL. Daniel has been married 9 years to Ida, who is 29, born April1871 in IL, and is the mother of 5 children of whom 4 are stillliving. (This would mean that this is Daniel's second marriage as helists 6 children with the oldest being 13.) Ida's father was born inIL and her mother was born in MO. The following children are listed;all born in Kansas.

  It should be noted that there is a William and Elizabeth Bowman livingin the same township. William is 71 and born in IL. Elizabeth is 64and also born in IL. Could they be Daniel Bowman's parents?

c. Note:   County, KS. D. R. is 43, born in IL as were his parents, and a farmerof a general farm who rents his farm. Ida is 39, also born in IL, andthe mother of 9 children with 7 of them still living. There is anotation that they have both been married only once, but from the 1900census I had concluded that D. R. had been married before. This needsto be researched. Ida and D. R. list the following children, all bornin KS.
  Archie, 16 Ralph, 13 Delta, 11 Alma, 8 Neta, 5 Wayne, 3 Ethel, 1

Note:   In 1910, D. R. and Ida Boman are living in Marmaton Township in Allen
d. Note:   town of Moran in Marmaton Township in Allen Co., KS. Daniel is 52,born in IL, owns his home with a mortgage, and is an engineer at asignal tower. This census he gives his father's birthplace as NC andhis mother's as IL. Ida is 49 and born in IL. Her father was born inKY and her mother was born in IA. They list the following children,all born in KS.
  Archie E., 25, stillman at a refinery Ralph G., 23, tool dresser at a drilling rig Delta V., 21 Alma E., 18, clerk at a bakery Neta, 16 Wayne R., 12 Ethel M., 11
  It should be noted that there is a John J. and Martha R. Boman livingon Simm Street in Moran. John is 54, born in IL, and a foreman of asection gang. His father was born in IL and his mother was born inKY. His wife Martha is 62 and born in OH. They have one son livingwith them. Paul J. is 21 and born in KS. This could be Daniel'sbrother due to the age. Also John and Martha are also buried in thesame cemetery as Daniel and Ida.
