  "Clair Sutter Rites Were Held in Wichita Friday Afternoon
  Funeral services for Clair Lewis Sutter, 52, Boulder, Colo., were heldat 2 p.m. Friday at St. James Episcopal Church in Wichita. The Rev.Fredrick Putnam, rector, officiated.
  Burial was made in Wichita Park cemetery.
  Richard Woods, organist, played several organ selections. Casketbearers were Verne Laing, Tom Tatlock, Don Bascom, Robert K. Smith,George Consolover and Robert J. Lawrence.
  Honorary casket bearers were Glenn Davis, Lloyd Loomis, Elmer Huffman,Howard Van Noy, Hammond Roberts.
  Mr. Sutter died Tuesday, May 30, 1961, at his home. He was born March10, 1909, at Croft, Kan., a son of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Sutter. Heattended schools at Kiowa and Newton and graduated from East Highschool, Wichita. He attended Wisconsin and Kansas universities.
  He was in the real estate business in Wichita and was a member ofWichita Real Estate Board. He was a member of St. James Church.
  Mr. Sutter married Josephine Vaughn, March 14, 1932, in Wichita.
  He is survived by his wife; two sons, Robert O. and Richard Clair, ofthe home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Sutter of Wichita; a sister,Mrs. Louise Heiserman, Leon; and a brother, Lawrence T., Woodward,Okla.
  Downing Mortuary of Wichita was in charge."
