a. Note:   Grove Cemetery, Texarkana, AR, and from his obituary. But on thetombstone his name is spelled with two l's. In the obituary, his nameis spelled with one l.
  There is, however, a conflict on his birthdate. The 1900 AR Censuslists his birth as Sept. 1885. His tombstone has his birth year as1884. His obituary lists his birthdate as 16 Sept 1892.
  Alison's obituary was obtained from Marilyn Henley. The newspaperclipping had no date on it, but it reads as follows:
  "Alison H. Moon, 76, died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at his home, 1721West 16th St. He was born Sept. 16, 1892 in Georgia, and had been aresident of Texarkana for the past 75 years. He was a member of theBaptist church. Survivors include four sons, Ray J. Moon, Rufus J.Moon, Eugene Moon, all of Texarkana, and Noel Moon of Pasadena, Tex.;two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Hilland of Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs.Irene Eastland of Henderson, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Jordan ofTexarkana; a brother, Lonnie Moon, also of Texarkana. Funeral serviceswill be held at 10 a.m. Friday at East Memorial Chapel with the Rev.L. B. Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Maurice Markle, Ray Palmer, Willie Dawsey, ArthurHilland, Mickey Hilland, and Wilbur Johnson."

c. Note:   Precinct No. 1 in Bowie Co., TX. Alison is 37, born in GA, and afarmer who owns his farm free of mortgage. Both of his parents wereborn in GA. Sarah is 28 and born in AR. Her father was born in GAand her mother was born in KY. Alison and Sarah list the followingchildren, (place of birth is listed after their age).
