Note: Aaron Boggs was a full-blooded Irishman and that his wife Gertrude wasScottish. From notes taken by my brother Paul A. Seward, our grandmother ErmaHazen Lee Fruits told him the following: "Boggs bought land in Mexico. Stabbed in small revolt. Sent back toKansas to recuperate. Uncle John Foltz finally sold it." Aaron was found in the following city directories of Muskogee, OK. 1921: "Boggs, Aaron h 915 Boston." This is the same address whereMargaret B. Foltz, Aaron's daughter, and her husband John were living. 1927: "Boggs, Aaron B. resides 2127 Boston av." Again, this is thesame address as his daughter, Margaret. (It should be noted that in1922, Margaret and her husband, John Foltz, lived at 915 Boston, butAaron is not listed in this city directory.) Also notice that in thisdirectory--1927--Aaron has a middle initial. I believe that this isthe first time I've seen a middle initial for him. 1930, 1932: "Boggs, Aaron resides 2127 Boston av." Aaron is still atthe same address as Margaret's. In 1934, Aaron is not listed in the city directory, but Margaret andJohn are still living at 2127 Boston Ave. 1936: "Boggs, Aaron resides 2127 Boston av." Aaron is again livingwith his daughter Margaret and her husband John. Aaron's otherdaughter, Nona Hazen, is also living at this house. Nona's husband,Frank Hazen, had died in 1933.
Note: In my notes from Virginia Petty (my mother's sister), she stated that

Note: County, KS. He is 55, born in NC, and a farmer who owns his farm freeof mortgage. It should be noted that A. gives his marital status asdivorced. This needs to be researched. At this date, 21 May 1998, Ibelieve this to be our Aaron because he was born in NC, his age listedin the census (55) is close to what he should be at this date (59),and his daughter Nona Hazen is living in the same township.
Note: In 1910, A. Bogs is living alone in Drum Creek Township in Montgomery
