Note: in Fulton Co., GA. F. C. is 35, born in GA, and a carpenter. Ameliais 36 and also born in GA. They list the following children, all bornin GA. Harris C., 14 Mary C., 10 Francis M., 9 William, 2 Marcus, 8 months It should be noted that sons Simeon T. and Henry, who were listed inthe 1850 census, do not appear in this census. As they would be tooyoung to marry between 1850 and 1860, it could be assumed that theyare living with someone else or probably have passed away.
Note: In 1860, F. C. and Amelia are living in Ward #1 in the city of Atlanta

Note: 846, in Cobb Co., GA. They are living next door to H. C. House, whichI believe must be his son Harris and his family. Francis is 54 and ahouse carpenter who has been unemployed for 12 months. Permelia is 55and keeping house. It's also noted that she can't read or write. Allof their parents were born in GA. There are three other families living at this house. M. House, hiswife, and daughter are the first family listed living with Francis andPermelia. I believe this is Marcus as his age is 20. He lists hisoccupation as a blacksmith. His wife Mary is 19 and keeping house.Their daughter Jessie is one year old. All are born in GA. Listedwith Marcus and Mary are two people: James Holcomb, age 37, M (whichI think stands for Mulatto), born in Georgia, and a blacksmith. Hisrelationship to the head of the family is listed as Brander orBoarder. (It's hard to read.) Milley Causey is 26, Black, and bornin Georgia. Her relationship is listed as servant and her occupationas farm laborer. E. C. Vernon, 56 and a widow, is also listed here asis her son A. J., age 34, and a huckster. M. E. Florence, age 37,also a widow, and her children G. A., 18, her daughter, and E. J., 17,her son also live here. I don't know how these people are related.E. C. Vernon could be Mary's mother and M. E. Florence might be Mary'ssister. More research needs to be done.
Note: In 1880, F. and P. are living in the 29th District, Powder Springs No.
