Note: Cobb County, Georgia, (Reel No. 188, ED 33, Sheet 5) with herparents, Nathan and Martha Lee. Bertha is 16 at this time. Her birthmonth and year are listed as Oct 1883. CENSUS: Bertha is found again in the 1910 GA Census, Cobb County,Coxes District, ED 37, Sheet 3A. Bertha and her husband Irvin L. areliving next door to her parents Nathan and Martha Lee. Bertha is 25,married for four years, and the mother of three children who areliving. CONFLICT: This contradicts with the tombstone of infant HueyWorley, who died in 1906. Irvin Worley is 29, born in Georgia, and isa farmer who rents a farm. Irvin and Bertha list the followingchildren: Ray, son, 3 Nellie, daughter, 2 Mart (Mort), son, 3 months March 1995: According to Boskey Stanley's notes, Bertha also marriedagain to Tommy Melton. ACTION: More research needs to be done onthis. Bertha is also found in the book titled Cobb County, GeorgiaCemeteries, Vol. II (1991) p. 260. She is buried in plot 150, next tothe plot where Nathan and Martha Lee are buried, plot 151. CONFLICT:In this book, Bertha's last name is Worley. Maybe Bertha didn't marrya second time. This book lists her birth date as 1886 and death dateas 1942. It also states that Bertha is the daughter of Nathan andMartha Ray. (This book is located in Clayton Research Library,Houston, TX.
