She was born Sept. 5, 1923, in Fremont to William and May (Monke) Blatter. She grew up in Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1940. She attended Dana, Wayne State and Midland colleges. She married Curtis Lallman on Dec. 18, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1995. They farmed south of Nickerson until moving to Fontanelle in 1959. She taught school over 20 years at several country schools, Sioux City, Fremont, Hooper and Arlington. In later years, she was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and Smiles Club.
Survivors include: a son, C. Mark Lallman of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, Kim Lallman-Holtz (and husband, Craig) of rural Beemer; and three sisters, Anne, Alice and Dorothy.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ted, Bill and John; and a sister, Patsy.
Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun is in charge of cremation. A private family memorial will be held.
