a. Note:   . Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 11500 W. 20th Ave., Lakewood, Colorado. William Albin Blatter was born Oct. 11, 1925, in Blair to J. W. and May (Monke) Blatter. He served as an ensign in the Navy during World War II and was released from the Naval Reserve as a lieutenant J. G. in 1955. He was preceded in death by a brother, John P. Blatter.
