She was born Jan. 25, 1936, in Blair to J.W. "Bill" and Anna Mae (Monke) Blatter. She graduated from Blair High School in 1953. She married Dale "Asa" Albus on Dec. 30, 1956. She worked in Blair at Kelly Ryan and retired from Jebco after 40 years in 1996.
She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary and attended the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Dale; children, Bill Albus of Long Beach, Calif., and Lisa Sonderup of Blair; sisters and brother-in-law, Alice (Blatter) Dick of Fremont and Anne (Blatter) and Byron Bruner of Long Beach; sisters-in-law, Billie Blatter of Las Vegas, Jeannette Blatter of Wheat Ridge, Colo., and Marlys (Albus) Letts of La Porte, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
The funeral was held Nov. 24 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Blair. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.
