He was a retired building contractor and shipbuilder. Surviving are daughters, Sherry (Mrs. Dwight Colpitts), Fox River; Angela (Mrs. Andrew Lake), Wards Brook; Wendy (Mrs. Johnson Repetto), Lower Sackville; sons, Terry, Darren, Wards Brook; Donald, New Prospect; sisters, Mrs. Marion Legere, Parrsboro; Althea (Mrs. Pat Legere), Enfield; Ruby (Mrs. Culton Crossman), Lower Sackville; Helen (Mrs. John George), Faye (Mrs. William George), Acton, Ont.; Vivian (Mrs. Bernard Duguay), Leona Dowe, Wards Brook; brothers, Isaac, Wilson, Perry, Allan, Wards Brook; Kenneth, Diligent River; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday in Port Greville Baptist Church, Rev. Jeffrey White officiating. Burial in Riverbank Cemetery, Port Greville.
