Note:   Obit hand dated 12/43, paper unknown "Mrs. Celia Williams, formerly of Black Creek and for the last four years of Cuba, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harold Feuchter of 18 Elm Street. She had been ill for two years with heart trouble and confined to her bed for the last month. Mrs. Williams was born at Allegany July 28, 1881, the daughter of Oliver and Luella Wright McElheney. She married Harry Williams of Black Creek on Dec. 23, 1903. He died in 1935. She is survived by two daughters, Pearl, Mrs. Carl Wixson of Belfast and Mrs. Harold Feuchter, above mentioned; she also leaves two grandchildren, Ethel and William Wixson; three brothers, Wallace McElheney of Black Creek; Herbert of Houghton; and Leo of Hornell; three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Almony of Mt. Jewett, PA; Mrs. Mabel Chamberlain, now of Cuba; and Miss Genevieve McElheney of Olean; also several nephews and nieces. Her son-in-law, Harold Feuchter, is now serving with the U.S. Army in New Guinea. Mrs. Williams is a member of Cuba Grange, the Black Creek Sunday (School) of the Black Creek Congregational Church, with which she had long been connected. The funeral will be held at the church in Black Creek at 2 Friday afternoon, preceded by a prayer service at the Feuchter home for relatives, conducted by the Rev. Eldyn Simons of Black Creek, with burial in Cuba Cemetery." ____________________________________________________________________________________
