a. Note:   Death Obituary of Mrs. David Freeland Mrs. David Freeland died at the home of her son, Charley Freeland, southeast of town, Thursday
 at 12:45 PM .
 Death was due to old age.
 Mrs. Freeland was born December 11, 1825 and would have been 92 years old had she lived until this coming December. She and her husband were early residents of Brule County South Dakota.
 She died near the quarter her husband homesteaded, upon arriving in Brule county.
 Mrs. Freeland was a Christian woman and her husband also was raised Christian. She was a member of the Methodist church and followed her belief to the time of her death. She was the daughter of a methodist minister.
 And coming to a frontier country did not waiver her belief. She leaves three sisters and a son to mourn her loss. All of whom were present at the funeral, namely:
 Mrs. Harold G. Bloser Mrs. George Bidwell Mrs. Sarah Ann "Sadie" Ormsby Wm. Freeland, all of Waterloo Iowa. Her children had splendid teachings in their younger years which was evidenced by them all coming to Kimball South Dakota, to pay their last respects to a kind, loving and devoted mother.
 Her son Albert died, laking one day of being a week before her death. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones. As per newspaper Obituary.
