a. Note:   urris, my father, was a teenager. From knowledge gained later, he must have gone to Georgia to live with a brother, Stanley Roberts Grubb. The family was left in "tough" circumstances although having two teen-age boys helped with the farming. Dad never volunteered any information about it and I never asked. My oldest sister, Jean, says she remembers Nola coming and staying at the house when she was very young. Nola was helping Dad add on a room or something to the house. This would have been before my birth which occurred after Dad and Mom had moved to a new location. In the "notes" section of Burris Grubb, I have copied some letters from Dad to Nola which were written in the years, 1932 and 1933.
