a. Note:   On 8 June 1900 Frederick was living in his house at 2 South Seever Street, Springfield City, Springfield County, Ohio with
 his wife Monica and son Howard. Frederick and Monica had been
 married two years. He was employed as a machinist. His father
 was born in Switzerland and his mother in Ohio. Monica's
 parents were born in Germany.
  On 7 January 1920 Frederick was living in a rented house at
 1034 Canton Ave., Detroit City, Wayne County, Michigan with his
 wife Monica, and sons Howard and Frederick. Frederick L. was an
 unemployed toolmaker. Son Frederick was employed at an Auto
 **** Shop. His father was born in Switzerland/ spoke
 German-Swiss and his mother was born in the US. Monica
 immigrated to the US in 1881. Her parents were born in Germany/
 spoke German.
