a. Note:   Sources: Paul A. Eakin Notes: Returned to Saim as a single missionary in 1914 after completing college and special training in the USA. Never married. She came home in 1929 on a regular furlough, but her duodenal ulcer did not improve, so in 1931 she resigned from the Board of Missions, and became School Visitor in the Pittsburgh Schools. She died after surgery for her ulcer in 1944.
