Note: 1850 Boone Co Indiana census has Thomas Poulson without wife. Lewis Poulson age 25 - probably brother- and Lewis wife Charlotte and sons William age 5 and David age 3. Also Mary Poulson age 18 -probably sister- living with Thomas . This Mary is proabably married to William Macy that was living next door to Thomas (alias Theadore) in 1860 in Marshall Co Ks and also living next door to Thomas in 1870 Jasper Co Mo census. Also living next door to Thomas was Elias T Poulson age 32 which is the same age as Thomas. Not sure if they are twins or brothers born very close to each other . Elias had a son Harrison. William Jr -son of William - named a son Harrison. 1860 Marshall Co Ks near Marysville - Theadore Polson - has to be Thomas- which is this family with all the children listed that were born after 1850. 1870 Jasper Co Mo Census has Thomas Polson without wife and raising 3 sons. Evidently Joseph must have died between 1860 and 1870. Living next door was William Macy and wife Mary Poulson Macy. William and Mary's son Albert married Charlotte Landers who later married Robert Sylvester Thorn. William Poulson -son of Thomas - married Amanda J Thorn sister to Robert Sylvester Thorn. Lots of double kin in the Poulson-Thorn-Macy families.
