Note: 1910 Ottawa Co Ok census lists Mable Walker as divorced with son James A Walker and Leander L Walker living with her.

Mable went by Mabel Bixby. I have her listed as Mabel Friend because of the marriage of her mother Mary Catherine Sloniker to Martin Friend approximately 18 months before she was born. However, Jackson L Bixby was the second husband of Mary Catherine's and the one that raised Mabel. According to the 1900 Cherokee Nation Ok census ,Jackson L Bixby and Mary Catherine had only been married 14 years and Mabel was 19 and married to James Walker at this time. So that would be proof that her father would have been Martin Friend . In her mothers obituary in 1943 she is listed as Mabel Young of San Francisco.
