Mrs Jessie Ann Butler, of Newbold � and formerly of Brampton � has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 81. A lifelong resident of this part of Derbyshire, she had done clerical work in the WAF and been a secretary at Sheffield United FC. Devoted to her family, her interests included watching snooker, reading, knitting and socialising. She leaves a daughter Lynne, grandchildren Laura, Georgina and James, sister Lil and brother Jack. Cremation is due to take place tomorrow at 12.30pm at Chesterfield. Funeral directors: Co-operative Funeral Service, 55 West Bars, Chesterfield (tel. 01246 220201).
