  WILL
  This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert White of the Parish of Street in the County of Somerset butcher being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish the same as follows (that is to say) First I give and bequeath until my dear wife Ann White all that my messuage or dwellinghouse slaughterhouse garden and premises together with all outbuildings and appurtenances thereunto belonging and also all that my Turbary Common in Street Heathmoor with its appurtenances all which said premises is situate in the said parish of Street And also all my household furniture Plate Linen china and other Effects which I may die possessed of to hold my said Messuage or Dwellinghouse Slaughterhouse Garden Turbary Common and Premises, Household furniture and other effects unto my said wife according to the tenure of the same for and during the term of her natural life if she shall so long continue my widow and from and immediately after her decease or day of marriage as aforesaid I do hereby direct and it is my Will that my said messuage or dwellinghouse Turbary Common Garden and Premises together with all my household furniture and other effects shall be immediately disposed of by Public Auction for the best price or prices that can be obtained for the same and the money arising from such sale or sales I do hereby give and bequeath unto my said wife and seven children namely William John Robert George Thomas Joseph and Arthur White in equal shares and proportions and it is my Will that if any or either of my said children shall happen to die leaving issue lawfully begotten then the share or shares belonging to such child or children so dying shall go to such issue and if any or either should die without leaving issue lawfully begotten then such share or shares shall be divided amongst my surviving children equally. All the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects not hereinbefore disposed of I give and bequeath until my said wife and appoint her executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all others by me at any time heretofore made in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fifteenth day of February in the first year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord William the fourth by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty one Robert White (Seal) Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator Robert White as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses Stephen Bush William Oatway � Street John Parfitt DIOCESE OF BATH AND WILLS In the Goods of Robert White deceased in the Consistorial Episcopal Court of Wells 3rd July 1844 APPEARED personally Ann Norris of the Parish of Ashcott in the County of Somerset widow late Ann White widow the lawful relict and the Executrix named in the last Will and Testament of the said Robert White late of the Parish of Street in the County aforesaid butcher who died on or about the eighth day of April 1839, and made Oath and said that the personal estate and effects of the said deceased, for or in respect of which a Probate of the said Will is to be granted by the said Court, exclusive of what the Deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or Persons and not beneficially, but including the Leasehold Estate or Estates for years of the said Deceased whether absolute or determinable on a Life or Lives and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts due and owing from the Deceased, are under the value of two hundred pounds to the best of this deponents knowledge, information and belief.
