  Ethel C. RUIZ, Visitor Here, Succumbs-
  Mrs. Ethel C. Ruiz, of Santa Barbara died on Thursday morning at 3:45
 o'clock at the Petaluma General hospital where she had been under
 treatment for the last two and a half days. She had been visiting in
 Petaluma since last November with her son, Richard W. RUIZ of 514 Oak
 St. and had been under a doctor's care since coming here. Her condition
 became serious on Monday. She was the widow of the late Ceasar RUIZ and
 is survived by five children, Carson S. Ruiz, Santa Barbara; Richard W.
 and Robert R. Ruiz of Petaluma; Gerald B or E. Ruiz, Bakersfield; and
 Elbert R. Ruiz, Hollywood; two grandchildren, Antoinette, and Earline
 Ruiz and a sister, Mabel GWINN, of Bakersfield.
 Mrs. Ruiz was a native of Massachusetts, aged 63 years. She had resided
 in Santa Barbara for the last 45 years. The body was shipped on Thursday
 afternoon by Arthur W. Parent of the Mount Chapel to Santa Barbara where
 a Rosary service and a mass will be celebrated. She will be buried
 beside her husband in that city.
