a. Note:   Jesus and his wife Maria Antonia lived in a house on the corner of Santa Barbara and Ortega Streets. My Uncle Dick and Aunt Karla Ruiz told me (Earlene Ruiz Grady Covert) that Jesus & Maria both died within a little over a month away from each other because of such love for one another.

  JJ Ruiz Dies
  Old Resident's Funeral to be Held Tomorrow
  After an illness of several weeks, JJ Ruiz died yesterday at his residence
 at 127 East Ortega St. He was 65 years old. Just one month ago his wife
 passed away in this city. He leaves three sons. Mr. Ruiz spent most of
 his life here. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 9 o'clock at the
 Catholic church.
