Note: information from barbara stanford "Saturday, September 18, 2004 1:19 PM William Robert Rathbone, son of Jesse Rathbone and Margaret Fish Hello Mary Kay and Earl, Since both of you are also researching the Rathbones and have info on RootsWeb about Jesse Rathbone's family, Ithought I'd write. In my files I have that William Robert Rathbone, son of Jesse Rathbone and Margaret Fish, died 4 Mar 1931 in Haywood County, NC; however, I have not been able to verify this DOD. William Robert Rathbone is not in the Index ToVital Statistics, Haywood County, NC - Deaths, 1913-1937, nor is he in Millees Haywood County cemetery book. Actually, according to census records, William Robert was dead before the 1930 census was taken. His vadow Margaret was living with theirsons Jesse and Crawford in 1930 Madison County, NC. Look at all the records below for him, wife Margaret and family. I'll look forward to your comments and any help you may be able to provide.
