FORT WORTH - Fay Carpenter Howsley, a retired beauty consultant for Neiman-Marcus and Helena Rubenstein, died Monday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 71.
Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Shannon TCU Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Throckmorton Cemetery, Throckmorton County.
Mrs. Howsley was born in Joplin and had lived in Fort Worth for 33 years.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Graham.
Survivors: Husband, Dr. E.B. Howsley of Fort Worth; two daughters, Genevieve Grisham and Julie Carpenter, both of Fort Worth; stepson, Roddy Howsley of Arlington; two stepdaughters, Clemma Littlefield of Mansfield and Cristi Brown of Arlington; brother, L.E. Eustace of Perrin; two sisters, Mary Hulse of Wichita Falls and Ruth McCaghren of Jackson, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
