a. Note:   See Notes Based on stories told by Jennie, J. D. invented some mechanism on the couplings on trains, but hired a lawyer to patent it, and the lawyer patented it under his name and left J. D. out in the cold.
  J. D. built the house on Dalford St. with pieces of wood left over from the train box car construction site. It was originally a 2 story house, but after most of the kids had left home, J. D. lowered the roof down to a 1 story house. It was suspected he did this so that none of his kids could move back home.
  After Ward Bogard bought the property and the city had condemed the house, Greg Bogard started the demolition. Part way through, a friend of Ward Bogard wanted the sidewalk blocks and agreed to finish the demolition.
