Note: Yvonne died the year after I was born. I lived with her memory for more than 30 years of my life as my mother cried almost every month of every year to a memory of her sister. Especially on Yvonnes birthday, Christmas and the day she died. My mother spent a small fortune putting flowers on Yvonnes grave on those special days and some days that were not so special. Yvonne got blood poisoning during child birth, and the military doctors didn't know of anything to use except sulfa drugs. Penicillin was reserved for military personnel injured in the line of duty. Yvonne was allergic to sulfa drugs and therefore was killed by the treatment.
