Notes
a. Note:   Story told by Fred Nation. Tom was in Farmersville and had a remuda of about 700 horses. Some guy that owned the store and restaurant in Azle offered Tom the store, restaurant, homeplace and about 100 acres for the string of horses. Sometime about the death of Mary, the property was split up with about 11 acres going to each living child except Fred. Fred got the home place and about 3 acres. Pearl apparently was the only one to keep her 11 acres, which she left to Roddy Murr upon her death. Apparently my grandmother Mary Bogard sold her 11 acres, but my grandfather got her to retain 1/2 of the mineral rights. This was because his father Henry Bogard sold his farm to the city of Ft. Worth because they had built Lake Worth and backed the water up on his land. Henry didn't keep the mineral rights, and the Greines family went down and leased the mineral rights from the city and then got about $3million in gravel off the land. Paper: Fort Worth Star-Telegram
