Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at White's Funeral Home in Azle. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle. Visitation: 8 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Marie Nation Welch was born April 6, 1910, in Azle. She moved from Azle less than five years ago to live with her granddaughter in Nacogdoches. She was a Baptist and was baptized in Ash Creek in Azle as a child. She was one of 14 children in her family.
Survivors: Stepson, James McCoy Welch; daughter, Angelyn Chaney of Cleburne; stepdaughter, Patricia Bryan of Euless; brother, Fred Nation of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
