Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Lonnie was born Feb. 12, 1919, in Reno to Mitsy and Ernest Crowell. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Yorktown in World War II. He retired from General Dynamics after 36 years of service and was a member of the General Dynamics Management Club.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Alma, in 1993.
Survivors: Son, Charles Crowell and wife, Carol, of Fort Worth; daughter, Diane Hittson and husband, Gary, of Tolar; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
