Sheldon, VT Sheldon is a very isolated and with a countryside view of rolling hills and farms with most raising cows on the land. The town hall is small and a one woman office with good records of vital statistics of all the town peoples. As you drive into the area you see homes that are modern ranches mixed in with the 1930 and older homes all living close to the road for easy access to the highway. The farms dominate the area that has brooks and streams. There are stands of trees at the back of the farms that may have been left that way by the earlier settlers whose land grants required them to clear so many acres and leave the balance of the land grant untouched. It is very relacksing to drive through the country side and view the area. --- Earl Dugan 1997 Lena is buried in Forestdale cematary S6 7 row and 5 gaves in. off the same road as Mother- Mary Ellen Brooks buried in plot # 558 (second road from the left to the end and out to the street area) with Milo Proper who died October 4, 1904 - Lenas son.
