Note: Born in Atoka in 1881. Lived in Atoka, Ok with her parents (May 18, 1899 IT newspaper). Socially active. May have attended Cincinati Conservatory - studied for Carnegie Hall career Was in Oklahoma City, OK, in Oct 28,1903 (Eunice B. Scratch) - going to college? After Marriage in 1905, left for new home in Spokane, Wash. Came back to Atoka and built new home on 115 E. Court St. (Oct 8, 1908 - cost $8,000) She and ET may have traveled extensively. Joe Stamper of Antlers knew Eunice and Earle and said Eunice was a gifted pianist and very cultured in literature and the arts Lived in Atoka until early 40's then went to New York City to live with her daughter Ann. She fell, broke her hip, became an invalid, and was placed in a nursing home in Yonkers, NY, where she was in 1956 when Alden and Keiko visited with their 2 children - Keiko tells of Eunice playing the piano and the children dancing - much to the delight of the old folks there. I believe Eunice fell again in 1957. Joe Stamper and another friend arranged to have Eunice tranferred to the Golden Age Home in Hugo, OK. on July 1 where she died July 11, 1960 just a week later. She may have died from stomach cancer (some information from her obituary written on July 21, 1960 by Kelly Fain, also Alden Sr.'s birth records)
