Note: Mrs. John Streets Laid to Rest - Nancy Loanza Heath, was born in Jackson Co. IA, near Monmouth, April 07 1854 , and grew to young womanhood in this community. She was united in marriage to Mr. John Streets in 1873 and this union was blessed with five sons, three of whom died infancy. The last forty years she lived on the homestead one and one half miles north of Crabb's Mills. Her son, Resin lived with her for a number of years to the time of her death. Her husband passed away, 31 Dec 1916. She was confined to her bed for four weeks, gradually failing in strength, and on Tuesday 10 Jan 1928, at 7:30 in the morning, she passed peacefully away at the maturity of 72 years. She leaves to mourn her two sons Albert of Tipton, and Razin at home, and two grandsons, two brothers, Peter Heath of Fulton, and Luke Heath of Woodbury county, Ia., and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Sinkey of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Dague of Bernard, IA., Aunt Loanza as she was commonly known, was a patient sufferer; kind and loving wife and mother, and will be sadly missed by her family and a large circle of friends. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan 12, prayer at the home, at 10:45 a.m. and sermon by Rev. D.F. Boomershine, at 11 a.m. at the Crabbtown Church where a large circle of friends and relatives gathered to pay last earthly tribute to the departed and express their sympathy to the living.
