Obit: Mrs. Cornforth, Native of Laurin, Is Dead, Death claimed Mrs. Stella Cornforth, 83, Monday in Butte, Her residence was at Basin Creek. Born 11 May 1879, in Laurin, she was a lifelong resident of Southern Montana. She was the widow of Glen Cornforth, who died in 1950. Surviving are a son, G.L. Postle of Palo Alto, Calif., daughters, Mrs. W.S. Stodden and Mrs Ray Linn, both of Butte; brothers, Edward Redfern and George Redfern of Butte and Lavern Redfern of Missoula; a sister, Mrs. Mary Kingsbury of Twin Bridges; grandchildren, Ralph Stodden of Butte, Robert Stodden of San Jose, Calif., and Stephen Postle of Clinton, Iowa, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in Wayrynen Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Richard Vick officiating, Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
