  Eliza Ann (Freeman) Earl was the daughter of William G. Freeman and Sarah Billingsley. Eliza was born in 1858. Sarah died in 1865. William G. Freeman was living close to Sarah E. Billingsley while growing up.
  William G. Freeman married Sarah J. Ely in 1868. This Sarah was a 1st cousin to Sarah E. Billingsley. In the 1930 Census, William G. Freeman is listed as having been married 2 times. At that time, he was married to Sarah Ely. The Maggie Billingsley who was living with Alvin and Eliza in the 1910 Census was a sister to Sarah E. Billingsley. Howard Earl was a little boy when Maggie lived with them. He remembered hearing Maggie talk about her sister, Sarah. Howard Earl told his two sons that Eliza Freeman's Mother was a Billingsley.
  Eliza Ann Freeman had Ely and Billingsley relatives that Dad remembered growing up with. Maggie and Sarah J. Ely were first cousins. They were also first cousins with Robert W. Billingsley who was the father of Sherman and Logan Billingsley.

 Sherman started the Stork Club in New York City. Logan was involved in Indian affairs while he was in Oklahoma and real estate after he moved to New York City. Robert's father, George McCreary Billingsley, was a brother to Mary Jane Billingsley. That would make Maggie Billingsley and Sarah J. Ely 2nd cousins to Sherman and Logan.
  William G. and Sarah (Ely) Freeman lived just a few farms from Alvin and Eliza (Freeman) Earl. There were several Billingsley and Ely families that lived close to Alvin and Eliza. George McCreary Billingsley was living close to Alvin and Eliza in the 1910 Census. He was the father of Sarah E. Billingsley who was married to William G. Freeman.

 Eliza was living in Corryton, Tennessee when she died.
  In the1900 Census, Eliza and Alvin had 7 children, only 5 were still living. They had been married for 21 years.
