a. Note:   WELDON W. BRINKMEIERPoynette, Wis.--Weldon W. Brinkmeier, 83, of Poynette, Wis., died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996 in Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City, Wis. Son of Henry and Ethel (Mooney) Brinkmeier, he was born March 6, 1913, in Freeport. He and Lorene Franz were married June 10, 1939. For 47 years he farmed west of Orangeville, and was one of the first in the area to use conservation farming. He was a member of Orangeville United Methodist Church. Surviving family members include his wife; two sons, Brian (Paula) Brinkmeier of Blue Mound, Wis., and Barry (Rose) Brinkmeier of Poynette, Wis.; three grandchildren, Stephanie and Brad Brinkmeier of Blue Mound and Kristi Brinkmeier of Poynette; and a sister, Helen Neebel of Freeport. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Donald and Raymond "Pete" Brinkmeier and sister, Dorothy. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Orangeville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sharon Bullmer officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery of Freeport. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home in Orangeville. A memorial fund has been established for the church.
