a. Note:   HENRY BRINKMEIER, Pearl City Pearl City, Ill. Sept. 5--Henry Brinkmeier, Sr. passed away at a Freeport hospital on Saturday afternoon, at the age of 73 years, 5 months and 14 days. Mr. Brinkmeier had been a patient at the hospital for a little over a year, suffering from cancer. Before going to the hospital, he had made his home with his son, Dan, near Loran. He was born in Germany in 1860, coming to this country when a small boy, and had made his home in this locality the greater part of his life. The following children survive; Mrs. William Neebel, Mrs. John Sturtevant, Mrs. Irvin Albright, Henry Brinkmeier Jr., Dan Brinkmeier, Arthur Brinkmeier, and Ralph Brinkmeier, also a number of grandchildren, all of near Loran. Three sisters also survive, Mrs. Frank Voss, Mrs. Adolph Schuman of Pearl City and Mrs. Edler of Shannon. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the Henry Brinkmeier home near Loran and later from the Ebenezer church and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Max Schroedel officiating.
