Note: RAYMOND W. BRINKMEIER Raymond W. "Pete" Brinkmeyer, 104 N. Grove Ave., who was employed by Northwestern Telephone Co. for 25 years, died Sunday night in Freeport Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for a week. Mr. Brinkmeier fell in the basement at his home last week and sustained a head injury. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Eagles and Telephone Pioneers of America. Born Jan. 30, 1915, in Loran Township, he was the son of Henry and Ethel (Mooney) Brinkmeier. He married Phyllis Dow May 20, 1949, in Freeport. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Thomas of Freeport and Bruce of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Julie at home; a granddaughter; a brother, Weldon of Orangeville; and a sister, Mrs. Helen Neebel of Freeport. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a grandson. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. The Rev. David Tracy, pastor of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
