Note: The Hawk Eye MYRTLE LILLIAN DAHLEN Funeral for Mrs. Myrtle Lillian Dahlen, 84, of 300 N. Roosevelt, who died Monday, March 1, will be at Downs Funeral Home, Superior, Wis., 11 a.m. Saturday; Greenwood Cemetery, Superior. The body will be taken to Superior from Prugh's Chapel this evening. She was born Feb. 20, 1898, to John and Emily Gunderson, in Marionette, Wis. She had been married to Raymond Mooney and Hans Bange; both of whom are dead. She married Lars Dahlen in Pine County, Wis., in November 1960; he died in 1969. She was a former shipyard cook at Superior, and was a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving: Son Clyde W. Mooney, Burlington. The Evening Telegraph MYRTLE DAHLEN, EX-RESIDENT DIES IN IOWA Mrs. Myrtle L. Dahlen, 84, of 300 North Roosevelt, Burlington, Ia., formerly of Superior, died Monday evening in Burlington. She was born Feb. 20, 1898 in Marionette, Wis., and had lived in Superior over 60 years. Mrs. Dahlen had been employed as a cook by the former Butler Shipyards here and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Superior. She is survived by a son, Clyde W. Mooney, of Burlington. Her husband, Lars, died in 1960. The funeral is tentatively set Saturday morning in the Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
