SUPERIOR SOLDIER IS KILLED IN FRANCE Word has been received by Mrs. Myrtle Vang, 1312 Hughitt avenue, that her son, Corporal Clifford R. Mooney was killed in action September 16 in France. Corporal Mooney attended the Blaine school and Central high school. He has two brothers, Donald E. Mooney, a seaman second class at the Great Lakes naval training station, and Clyde W. Mooney, a private first class also in France.
