Note: The Evening Telegram, Monday, September 17, 1990 DONALD MOONEY Donald E. Mooney, 71, 914 Tower Ave., died Sunday, Sept. 16, 1990 in Superior Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 9, 1919 in Milwaukee, he resided in the Superior area for most of his life. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Mooney was employed for over 30 years as a section laborer by the former Great Northern Railroad. He was also employed as a custodian by Pilgrim Lutheran Church for 15 years. He was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William (Barbara) Weiss, Las Vegas, Mrs. Jimmy (Judith) Lindgren, Anoka, Minn., and Mrs. John (Donette) LeDuc, Richfield, Minn.; a son, Gary E., Cambridge, Minn.; five grandchidren; two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Clyde, in Iowa. His wife, Ann, died in 1970, and a brother, Clifford, died in 1944. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. David Eckman of Pilgrim Lutheran Church will officiate. Downs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
