a. Note:   MRS. EDWARD BROWN Mrs. Edward W. Brown, former Freeport resident, died at her home in Dixon early this morning after a long illness. The former Mary Mooney was born in Stephenson County, June 11, 1866, the daughter of Michael and Isabella McLain Mooney. She was married to Edward W. Brown Sept. 29, 1891. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Curtis Rice of Dixon, Mrs. Olive Lydard of Oregon, Mrs. Marguerite Hana of Dixon, Miss Loretta, at home, and Mrs. John Ruman of Portland, Ore.; three sons, Hugh of Rockford, Edward of Oakland, Calif., and Daniel, at home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Schwarz Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. C. F. Conley, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckley Funeral Home in Dixon after 1 p.m. Sunday and at the Schwarz Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Monday until time of service.
  MRS. EDWARD BROWN Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Brown, former Freeport resident, who died at her home in Dixon Saturday, will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Schwarz Funeral Home and at 9:30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. C. F. Conley, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. It was incorrectly reported in The Journal-Standard that services were to be Thursday. Friends may call at the Schwarz Funeral Home until time of the service.
