Note: MISS LORETTA BROWN Dixon--Miss Loretta M. Brown of Dixon, formerly of Freeport, died Thursday evening at Orchard Glenn Nursing Home in Dixon. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dixon. Born Aug. 3, 1898, in Freeport, she was the daughter of Edward and Mary (Mooney) Brown. Surviving are two brothers, Daniel of Dixon and Hugh of Rockford; and two sisters, Mrs. Victor (Frances) Ray of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Margaret Hanna of Dixon. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9 in Allen-Buckley Funeral Home, Dixon, and at 9:30 in St. Patrick Church. The Rev. James Malloy, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Freeport. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock. A memorial fund has been established for the Lee County Cancer Society.
