Note: MICHAEL R. MOONEY Michael R. Mooney, 65, a native of Stephenson county, passed away at a Moline hospital early today. Funeral services will be conducted at the Schwarz funeral home, South Galena avenue, at 9 o'clock Thursday morning with a requiem mass at St. Mary's church at 9:30 o'clock. Rt. Rev. C. F. Conley will celebrate the mass and interment will be made in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Mooney was born in Waddams township, the son of the late Michael and Isabella Mooney. Most of his life was spent on a farm in Stephenson county. He leaves a sister and a brother, Mrs. Mary Brown and James Mooney, both of Freeport. Two brothers, William and Patrick, preceded him in death.
