  Michael and his family departed Rotterdam in late spring of 1728 and first arrived at Deal England on 15 June 1728. They then sailed for the colony of Pennsylvannia aboard the ship "James Goodwill", Capt. David Crokatt, Commander. The family arrived at Philadelphia on 11 Sept 1728.
