a. Note:   Linda Walker wrote in an e-mail message, 12 March 1997, that she has a photo of David and Laura's Phillips 66 Gas Station about 5 miles outside of Central City. She says it had a lunch counter with about 6 stools. Her grandma, Laura, used to make fresh donuts and sell them to her customers. She reports they were really special people and she loved them a whole lot.
  She later sent the photo along with one of the family which may have been taken around 1926 standing behind an automobile. In the photo was Hazel in front of her mother Laura. Kenneth was in front of his father David and Walter was behind him with only his eyes and an arm showing.
