Note: Listed in the 1930 Census. Lived at 83 Bloomfield St. Dorchester, Mass. Uncle Bill died in his sleep after a long bout with cancer. We aren't sure whether he died on July 11th or July 12th. He was the family historian, and he was the historian for his army unit during WWII. He wrote a book about his exploits during the war and had it published. He was awarded the Silver Star for bravery in combat during that conflict. After the war he attended Harvard University at night and earned a degree in business with the assistance of the GI Bill. After he retired in 1985 he and his wife, Pat, moved to the Cape where he remained until his death in 2002. He is buried at the national cemetery in Bourne, Mass.
