She was cremated as she requested, & her ashes were saved and scattered with her husband's at sea, N. Myrtle Beach, SC, on 11/27/1993, by their daughters and their families. She graduated from Morehead City High School (NC) in 1935, was a very good artist, both in painting & in sculpting, & also enjoyed playing golf. She had blue eyes.
