Qualified as Expert on M1 Rifle. Decorations included Army Occupation Medal (Germany) & WW II Victory Ribbon. Gene died at the Masonic and Eastern Star Home, Greensboro, NC, & his funeral was at the Masonic Home Chapel with burial at Masonic Home Cemetery.
